Slieve Donard Hike
Lace up your hiking boots and join us to conquer Northern Ireland’s highest peak on the 3rd of October. Standing at 2,789 ft, Donard is the highest of the Mourne Mountains and offers extensive and beautiful views from its summit.
We are working alongside an outdoor event company Adventure Climbing Company, whose experts will guide all participants through the challenge.
The cost for early bird registration is £30 (until 31st March 2026). From 1st April the non-refundable registration fee will be £40 and we are asking each person to fundraise a minimum of £150. The event is only open to those aged 16+ and participants need to have a good level of fitness and mobility. Any participants under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian in attendance at the event.

Fitness: Good levels of fitness and mobility are important throughout the entire event. Anyone who has had recent surgery, has back pain or other medical/mobility issues, must seek their GP’s advice before taking part in this event.
If this event has to be postponed due to weather limitations, it will be up to the discretion of the outdoor events company to postpone the event to later date.
