Air Ambulance Runway Run
Run 5K at Night, help fund a Life-Saving Flight
Date and Time: Thursday 12th September 2024, run starts at 11.00pm
All runners to arrive between 9.30pm – 10pm for warm up & security
Location: Belfast City Airport, Airport Road, Belfast
Distance: 5km along the Belfast City Airport runway
The Air Ambulance Runway Run offers participants a unique experience of running 5K on the Belfast City Airport runway whilst raising vital funds to support your local air ambulance service.
This is a flat and fast paced 5k race, offering great opportunity for personal bests as well as prizes for first, second and third in both female and male categories.
Age: 16 and over
Places available: Places are limited to 500 participants.
Entry fee: £25 per person (+booking fee) with a suggested minimum sponsorship of £100
As well as the extremely unique experience of running a Runway, your £25 entry includes:
- Air Ambulance branded tech top
- Bespoke finishers medal
- Chip timed results
- Pre-event visit to Air Ambulance operational airbase
- Support to help your fundraising journey including online fundraising link, tips on the best fundraising activities to organise, and supporting materials such as sponsor forms, buckets, banners, balloons and much more. Anyone who reaches £100 fundraising target will be entered into a draw for a range of prizes.

Please note that by registering for this event you are granting the organisers permission to contact you using via e-mail and mobile. There will be terms and conditions for the run including no loose objects (pens, mobile phones, water bottles, etc.) to be taken onto the runway. A valuables bag service will be available.
