With a suggested donation of £10 per vehicle to enter the site, the committee will then host their family fun event which will include everything from face painters, stunt bikes, live music, vintage bikes and cars, ice cream vans, hot food venders, raffles and much much more for you and all the family to enjoy!
Karl Bradley, President of the AANI Ride of Thanks committee said,
“We would like to encourage everyone in Northern Ireland to get behind our event, as it’s sure to be an amazing day! We have some fantastic support from the biking community and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for continuing to support this annual event. We had such a great time organizing last year’s event, we thought we would make these years even bigger and better. We have made sure we have something for everyone, whether you like cars, bikes, trucks, or live music our event is the event for you and your family!
As we are all road users, we never know quite know when you will need the assistance of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service team and I appreciate the value this lifesaving service can bring to areas with extended travel times, for specialist emergency care.”
“Last year the motorbike community really got behind AANI Ride of Thanks, so this year we hope to have many more bikers attend with family and friends. It’s a great excuse to take your bike out for a run and support your local Air Ambulance. Bikers will travel from 6 areas throughout NI.
Karl continues,
“We would like to say thank you to those who have already generously supported us and we look forward to seeing as many people as we can on 3rd July. Grace Williams, Area Fundraising Manager said
“Karl and the AANI Ride of Thanks committee are a real inspiration, organising this unique fundraising event, combining their passion for motorbikes and support for their local Air Ambulance. We are just so delighted that they have made this into an annual event and are choosing to support Air Ambulance NI in this unique way.
As a service we rely heavily on charitable donations to keep the medical team in the air, delivering critical care to patients who have suffered trauma throughout Northern Ireland – without continued support, the team simply couldn’t fly. Every single penny counts. With a daily fundraising need of £5,500, we are so grateful to Karl and the AANI Ride of Thanks Committee for this wonderful opportunity. I would like to encourage everyone to support their fundraising event on Sunday 3rd July, as it is sure to be a wonderful family event!”
