The Newtownards based company raised £5000 from their staff Christmas raffle to AANI, enough to fund a full day of service.

Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (AANI) is a local charity that provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for Northern Ireland, together with its partners at the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS). The service brings urgent medical assistance to anywhere in the province, operating seven days a week for 12 hours per day. It can get to anywhere in Northern Ireland in approximately twenty-five minutes.

Kerry Anderson, AANI Head of Fundraising said, “On average the HEMS team is tasked to an incident every day with 711 taskings to date. To ensure the service is sustained, we need to raise £2 million each year so support from businesses and the public is crucial. It is fantastic to receive a donation for a full day of service, and I would like to thank all of the staff for their support.

“I hope that other companies, individuals and community groups will also be inspired to help by organising a fundraising event, making a donation or becoming a member of Club AANI for just £2 per week.”
