
In November, a cheque for £3,500 was presented to the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland being the proceeds of the fourth annual charity 5-a-side football tournament and family fun evening held on the 25th July in memory of Allister (Ali) Kelly. Allister’s family and the organising committee would like to thank the following who helped in making the night such a great success :- Mid Ulster Council, the Barbecue Team, Castlecaufield Sports and Culture Group, Aughintober Regeneration for use of the 3G pitch, Moy Park, Martin’s Costcutter, Killymoon Bouncy Castles, David Wilson Hardware, E.S Print, The Village Chippy, Davidson bar and off sales, Gilfresh Produce, Balloo Hire Centre, Pinkertons Armagh, Hegan Farms, Maxwell Electrical, Castle Awards (for trophies), The Butchery Donaghmore, Tener’s, Lyness Foods Cookstown and Surefire Wood B/Q Fuel Fivemiletown. They would also like to thank everyone who assisted in making the evening a success, all the teams who took part and everyone who attended the event and gave donations.

In August, Aughintober Bowling Club held a tournament in memory of Allister (Ali) Kelly. Allister’s family would like to thank Raymond Wallace and Lewis Steel and the members of Aughintober Bowling Club who helped make the tournament a success and the bowlers who took part. A cheque was presented to Air Ambulance NI for £1210.

Leslie and Joan Armstrong presented a cheque to Air Ambulance NI for £1060 following donations they received in lieu of presents for their 50th wedding anniversary.
