Belleek Youth Trust have recently distributed funds to support charities and organisations which have significant impact on the local Belleek & Mulleek communities of County Fermanagh and as a result Belleek Youth Trust has donated £1,100 to the Air Ambulance NI Charity.

Damien McAnespie, Area Fundraising Manager, said; “Air Ambulance NI, working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, provides the helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) for the province. Our HEMS can reach any point of Northern Ireland within 25 minutes, bringing emergency pre-hospital care and critical care interventions from our doctor and paramedic team to the scene of the incident with the aim of saving lives, brains and limbs. Since July 2017, the Air Ambulance NI HEMS has been tasked to over 2,366 trauma and medical incidents, with over 194 of those taskings occurring in the Fermanagh and Omagh council area. At an operational cost of £5,500 per day, or £2 million a year, we sincerely appreciate the donation from Belleek Youth Trust.”
