Brace yourself for a heart pounding experience as Air Ambulance NI calls on you to conquer new heights in a 120ft abseil at the iconic Europa Hotel on Sunday 28th April. This adrenaline fuelled challenge is your chance to make a real impact in supporting the critical missions of your local air ambulance.
The air ambulance plays a pivotal role in Northern Ireland, reaching any part of the province within a remarkable 25 minutes from its airbase in Lisburn. Tasked twice a day on average, the doctor and paramedic team respond to a variety of emergencies, from serious road traffic collisions to farm and workplace accidents, sports incidents and medical emergencies. Every minute counts, and your support can help the medical crew continue to provide life-saving interventions. The charity needs to raise £6850 in fundraising every day, and continued support is crucial.

Amy Henshaw, Area Fundraising Manager for the charity, expressed her enthusiasm saying, ‘’We need 20 brave abseilers to take on this iconic challenge. It’s a brilliant opportunity to face any fears of heights or tick off an abseil from your bucket list. Crucially, the 20 supporters will together fund the medical team to reach and treat a patient and every descent down the Europa Hotel directly contributes to the funds needed for life-saving missions. Be part of our life-saving team and together we can ensure that the service continues to be a beacon of hope for the critically ill and injured. It could be any one of us. To participate in this bucket list challenge, registration costs only £40, and the charity asks each participant to raise a minimum of £100. Friends, family or work colleagues are all welcome.’’
