Citi Belfast is marking a major milestone celebrating 20 incredible years in the Belfast City and what better way to celebrate than with the return of the much-loved Citi Belfast 5K Run, this year proudly in aid of Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.

Taking place on Thursday 11th September at 6:30pm from Citi’s Gateway Building on Sydenham Road, this inclusive and family-friendly event invites participants of all abilities to lace up their trainers and take part in support of our life-saving charity.

Whether you’re chasing a new personal best, running with your club, walking with friends, or simply joining in for the atmosphere, the Citi Belfast 5K has something for everyone.

Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for Northern Ireland.  The service brings urgent medical assistance to anywhere in the province, operating seven days a week for 12 hours per day. The HEMS team attend patients who are seriously ill or injured, bringing emergency pre-hospital care direct to the casualty with the aim of saving lives, brains and limbs.  The aircraft can reach anywhere in Northern Ireland in approximately twenty-five minutes.
