Croke Park Abseil
On Saturday 29th November, we’re heading to Dublin for a truly unique challenge — our first-ever abseil at Croke Park. Forget Coldplay, Oasis, or your favourite sporting heroes — this time, forty brave participants will take centre stage at Europe’s third-largest stadium, abseiling an incredible 150 feet to raise much-needed funds for Air Ambulance NI Charity.
We are working alongside outdoor event company Adventure.ie for the Croke Park abseil, whose experts will guide us and our supporters throughout the challenge.
The cost for registration is £50 (non-refundable) and we are asking each person to fundraise a minimum of £350. The event is only open to 18+ years old and participants need to have a very good level of fitness and mobility.
What does the abseil event include?

- Abseil off Croke Park (90-minute time slot)

Times: Your abseil time will be confirmed approx. 1 week before the event date.
Registration Fee: £50 per person
Fundraising Target: £350 per participant
Restrictions: Anyone 18 years old or over can take part, and there is a weight restriction of 120kg / 18.8st / 264.5lbs.
Fitness: Very good levels of fitness and mobility are important as to reach the start of the abseil you will be required to descend 3 short ladders and climb over a barrier. Anyone who has had recent surgery, has back pain or other medical/mobility issues, or are over 65 must seek their GP’s advice before partaking in this event.
Spectators: Colleagues, family and friends can join to watch you take on the challenge and snap some photos! There will be a dedicated viewing area for them. Access to the roof is strictly for participants only. Please note, we recommend you leave personal belongings with your spectators. Mobile phones and jewellery are not allowed to be taken onto the roof.
