Anne-Marie Davey, from Bellaghy, recently hosted a remarkable ACDC Tribute night at The Taphouse Bar, Bellaghy, to raise crucial funds for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. The event was organized in memory of her late husband, Seamus Davey, and marked her second fundraiser in the past year to support the local life-saving charity. Anne-Marie’s passion for supporting the charity shone through as she organized a music-filled evening, paying tribute to her late husband’s love for music. Seamus was widely known and loved in the community, and the event was a reflection of the impact he made during his lifetime.

The ACDC tribute night welcomed attendees from various parts of Northern Ireland and was a resounding success, raising an impressive sum of £2,500 through a combination of ticket sales, a raffle, and generous donations from local businesses, including The Step Bar Inn in Magherafelt.

In the words of Katrina Hughes, the Area Fundraising Manager for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, “We are immensely grateful to Anne-Marie for her unwavering support, and we are thrilled by the success of the event. The generosity of local businesses and communities is truly humbling, and it is this support that allows us to continue our life-saving work. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to this incredible event.”

The community’s outpouring of support for the ACDC Tribute night is a testament to the impact and legacy of individuals like Seamus Davey. Anne-Marie’s dedication to honoring her late husband and supporting a vital cause has made a profound impact.
