The charity Air Ambulance NI are delighted to have received a remarkable donation for £1,010 from Bryansford Church of Ireland. The generous contribution was raised through the proceeds of the churches Annual Christmas Tractor Run, which took place on 16th December 2023.

This welcomed donation from the local church will go directly towards supporting the vital operations of Air Ambulance NI, enabling the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) team to continue its life-saving missions across the region. The HEMS team are tasked on average twice a day, responding to some of the sickest patients, that require urgent and critical medical interventions.

‘We are immensely grateful to the Bryansford Church of Ireland and community for their incredible generosity.’ said Amy Henshaw, Area Fundraising Manager at Air Ambulance NI. ‘The charity aspires to raise £2.5m per year, costing in the region of £6,850 every single day. Your support is crucial and keeps our medical team flying to those in most need. With your continued support, it’s a service that is there, 365 days of the year, for everyone of us.’
