We had the pleasure of hosting Air Ambulance NI patient, Martin from Fintona, his sister AnneMarie and nieces Molly and Aoibh, to the operational base recently.

In March 2022, Martin was involved in an accident on his farm, which the HEMS team attended. Thankfully, Martin is on the long road to recovery.

His sister AnneMarie has raised £2,560 for Air Ambulance NI, by running 100miles in June and holding a coffee morning in her school.

AnneMarie said, ‘I decided to take on a personal challenge after my brothers accident. I walked 100 miles throughout the month of June and held a coffee morning at my place of work, St Bridget’s College in Derry. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported my challenge. I would especially like to mention the pupils and staff from St Brigid’s College who generously donated and and supported me throughout June!’
