Omagh Golf Club and their captain this year, Dermot McGirr, has supported Air Ambulance NI for his Captain’s Day held on Saturday 27th June, raising £870 for the charity.
Damien McAnespie, Fundraising Manager for Air Ambulance NI, said, “Thank you to Dermot and everyone at Omagh Golf Club for their club’s continued support for our service over the last nine years. Their donation will ensure the helicopter emergency medical service can continue to reach and treat the sickest individuals in the region. At a fundraising need of over £8000 a day, it is the support from the public and wider community through individual giving, organising a fundraiser, taking part in events or leaving a Gift in your Will that all play a part in helping to save lives across Northern Ireland.”
