A young patient, Conor Henry from Coleraine visited the Air Ambulance base recently as part of his recovery, with his Mum Kirstin and Dad Darren. The HEMS team attended Conor following a serious leg injury.
Conor’s Dad, Darren said, “I would like say a massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone at Air Ambulance NI for all your support in the last few weeks, in particular to Dr Davy, HEMs Paramedic Stuart and all the medical staff who treated Conor.” My family and I will never forget and we cannot thank you all enough. As well as visiting the base, the charity team also provided the opportunity for Conor to meet some of the riders at the North West 200 who had experienced serious injuries themselves. It was nice for Conor to be able to chat to them about their recovery and to hear their stories. The Air Ambulance is a charity we will always hold close to our hearts and help now and in the future.”
