Location: Belfast City Airport, Belfast City Airport, Sydenham Bypass, Belfast, BT3 9JH
Date and Time: Wednesday 10th June 2026. Race begins at 11:00pm, all runners must arrive at the airport between 9:30pm-10pm.
Distance: 5km, chip timed along the runway at Belfast City Airport
Age: 18 and over
Places available: Places are limited to 550 participants.
Entry fee: £25 per person with a required minimum sponsorship or donation of £100. The funds you raise or donate will go directly to helping our helicopter fly to those in need and is required either at point of registration or by Friday 26th June 2026.
This flat and fast 5K route offers the perfect chance to set a new personal best, with prizes for the top three male and female finishers. Whether you’re taking on your first 5K, a regular runner, or simply eager to tick “run a runway” off your bucket list, we’d love to have you join us.
The primary aim of this special event is to raise essential funds to keep our air ambulance flying, delivering life-saving care to patients across Northern Ireland. On average, the Air Ambulance is tasked twice every day, and your support helps make every mission possible.
Please note that by registering for this event you are granting the organisers permission to contact you using via e-mail and mobile. There will be terms and conditions for the run including no loose objects (pens, mobile phones, water bottles, etc.) to be taken onto the runway. A valuables bag service will be available.
