We’re delighted to be offering you a chance to enter our brand new competition, just in time for you to win a present for yourself or a loved one, this Christmas!

On Christmas Day, the 12 days of Christmas, and every other day of the year the crew at Air Ambulance NI are on duty to respond to serious medical emergencies. By entering today, you’ll not only be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize, but you’ll also be helping to ensure Air Ambulance NI can lift off for those who need it this Christmas!

Competition entry costs just £5 and every donation will help our medical crew continue to deliver critical pre-hospital medical care across Northern Ireland.

Entry for the Christmas Competition will close at noon on Friday the 3rd of December. The prize winners will be drawn on the 4th of December 2021. All prize winners will be contacted directly by telephone.

Air Ambulance NI is tasked to attend a serious medical emergency on average twice per day, help us reach those in need of critical pre-hospital care by entering the competition below:

Each entry costs £5, you can enter as many times as you wish. 

Once you have entered the Christmas Competition we will be in touch within 2-3 business days via email with a confirmation of your entry purchase.

We use PayPal to accept donations on our website, you can still make a donation using your credit or debit card if you don’t have a PayPal account. If you experience any issues with this, please give us a call on 028 9262 2677.

Air Ambulance NI is committed to ensuring that we operate the Christmas Competition in a socially responsible way.

How Your Support Helps

Your support of the Christmas Competition is very much appreciated and will help keep the Air Ambulance and medical team flying to trauma incidents providing critical pre-hospital care, which can sometimes be the difference between life and death. 

The charity Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for Northern Ireland.  The service brings urgent medical assistance to anywhere in the province, operating seven days a week for 12 hours per day. It can get to anywhere in Northern Ireland in approximately twenty-five minutes. £2m needs to be raised each year so public donations and continuing support are crucial. As you may know, the service had its first tasking on 22nd July 2017 and since then we have completed over 2,430 missions!

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the Christmas Competition rules. By entering the Christmas Competition, all entrants agree to be bound by these rules.

Prizes are subject to terms and conditions:

  • There will be no cash alternatives to prizes.  
  • 30 Flight Experience: The voucher is valid until February 2022 and must be booked 2 weeks in advance.
  • Pantomime tickets: Pantomime tickets are for 4 people 26 December 2021, performance at 7.00pm with pre-assigned seats which are non-changeable and non-transferable.
  • Overnight hotel stay: Overnight stay on 26th December 2021 at the Clayton Hotel, 22 Ormeau Ave, Belfast BT2 8HS, in a Deluxe Family room – features a queen double bed and a large single bed (4ft), accommodating two adults and two children under the age of 12. Check in is 3.00pm and check out in 12.00noon on 27 December 2021. The hotel booking cannot be changed to an alternative date.
  • Rushmere shopping voucher:  From the date printed on the vouvher card there will be 1 year for this to be spent. It can be used across all stores in the Rushmere Shopping Centre.

Entry: One entry into the competition costs £5. Multiple entries are allowed. All funds generated by the competition will go towards funding the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for Northern Ireland. 

You can enter in the following ways:

  1. Online via www.airambulanceni.org Complete the online form which includes a skills-based question, capture of contact details and facility to make your payment via credit or debit card.  You will receive a confirmation email from Air Ambulance NI head office with your ticket number(s).
  1. By calling the Air Ambulance NI head office on 028 9262 2677 whereby your entry will be processed over the phone capturing your answer to the skills-based question, contact details, and payment by credit/debit card. You will receive a confirmation email from Air Ambulance NI head office with your ticket number(s).
  2. Free entry is available by sending a postcard detailing your answer to the skills-based question along with your personal details as follows; Full Name, Date of Birth, Postal Address, Email address, One contact number. Send your entry to: Air Ambulance NI, 94 Halftown Road, Lisburn, Co. Antrim BT27 5RF.  All free entries must be received before the close of the competition.  Any entries that fail to follow the criteria will be void. You will receive a confirmation email from Air Ambulance NI head office with your ticket number(s).

Air Ambulance NI will issue confirmation emails Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm.   

The closing date for competition entries is noon on Friday 3rd of December 2021. Entries received after this time will not be entered into the draw and monies received after this will be treated as a donation to Air Ambulance NI.

The Christmas Competition draw will take place on Saturday 4th December 2021 at Air Ambulance NI, head office. 

If for any reason it is necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to change the closing date and the draw date for the competition. If the promoter does change the closing date or draw date of the competition, the new details will be displayed on the website. 

Entering the Christmas Competition does not mean you are entered into any other competition run by Air Ambulance NI.  There will be no option for Gift Aid as this is a competition. The winner will be notified via the phone number provided. The entrants’ data will not be used for any other purposes than the competition. 

Choosing a winner: The Chrsitmas Competition draw will take place on Saturday the 4th of December 2021 at Air Ambulance NI, head office in the presence of representatives of the charity & a witness. 

All eligible entries will be amalgamated into one list.   

winner for each prize will then be drawn using a random number generator and the winner’s name declared the winner of the prize. 

The decision of the promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. 

The winner of the Christmas Competition will be notified by phone and email at the promoter’s earliest convenience. 

If a prize winner cannot be contacted or is not available within a reasonable time (maximum 2 weeks from the first attempt to contact by promoter) using the contact details provided (phone/email address) another winner will be drawn. 

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to take part in promotional activity with Air Ambulance NI.  

Air Ambulance NI reserves the right to use the name, and town of residence of the winner in any publicity unless prior notification has been received. 

Prize vouchers can be posted out to the winners.  Product prizes will need to be collected from the Air Ambulance NI head office. 

Cancellation of Entry and Refunds: All competition entries are final and no refunds for the entry fee will be made at any time under any circumstances. All entrants acknowledge that their payment to enter the competition does not guarantee that they will win any prize. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules. 

Liability Air Ambulance NI shall not be liable to the entrant for any loss or damage suffered or arising from any delays or failures in the postal service or other delivery method used by Air Ambulance NI or the entrant or any other event beyond the reasonable control of Air Ambulance NI. 

The promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize. 

Eligibility: The competition is open to all residents living in Northern Ireland, aged 1years or over. The promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition. Air Ambulance NI employees are not eligible to win this prize. 

Players Responsibility: All entrants are solely responsible to provide the promoter with their accurate and up-to-date contact details. The promoter will in no way be liable for any failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the contact details that the entrant has provided. If an entrant changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising the promoter of the change. 

Data Protection: By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used by the promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition. 

If you are the winner of the competition you agree that the promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the promoter. 

The entrants’ mobile numbers & data will not be used for any other purposes than the competition. 

Complaints Procedure: As per the Air Ambulance NI complaints procedure, any complaints relating to the Christmas Competition are encouraged in the first instance by phone to the Head of Fundraising on 028 9262 2677 giving full details of the complaint and supporting documentation. 

General: The promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on the website. 

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition and any future competitions. 

The promoter reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so. 

This competition is managed solely by Air Ambulance NI.  Please do not contact any of the third-party businesses in relation to this competition.
