Calvert is proud to announce the successful delivery of a Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE A3 Colour Copier to the Air Ambulance NI (AANI) office, providing a complete print, copy, and scan solution to enhance their operational efficiency. This advanced copier will support the office team in their vital work, ensuring seamless document management as they continue to deliver life-saving services.
This delivery comes as part of Calvert’s ongoing partnership with Air Ambulance NI, which also includes support for their educational initiative, ‘Helimed Ed.’ The initiative is designed to engage and inspire primary school children across Northern Ireland through a range of cross-curricular activities focused on the essential services provided by the helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS).
The ‘Helimed Ed.’ resource promotes learning across Literacy, Numeracy, and other key subjects, with the goal of encouraging discussions on safety and emergency responses. By helping to bring this resource to schools, Calvert aims to spark curiosity and interest in careers such as pilots, doctors, paramedics, engineers, and volunteers.
Air Ambulance NI depends heavily on community support, requiring £6,850 per day to maintain its operations. Schools are encouraged to support AANI through fundraising efforts like non-uniform days and bake sales, helping to sustain the charity’s mission of saving lives, protecting brains, and preserving limbs.
Calvert is honored to be part of this important partnership, supporting both AANI’s educational efforts and their operational needs.
